Thursday evening, a Roane County deputy dispatched to Highway 70 in Rockwood encountered 43-year-old Scott Adam Holt, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant.

As he was being arrested, Holt took off a black toboggan hat and threw it into some junk in the parking lot. Authorities recovered the hat and a small bag of meth fell out onto the ground.

Holt was served the outstanding warrant for failure to appear, and charged with manufacture, sale, delivery or possession of meth.
