Cumberland County deputies responded yesterday to a residence on the 6700 block of Highway 70 West for a burglary. A man told officers he left the home for about 10 hours and returned to find a back door pried open to the dwelling and a lock busted off a shed. Among the items stolen included two televisions, a game system and a leaf blower with a total value of over $1,400. No suspects were named.
