A resident of Cook Road in Cumberland County reported a home burglary Christmas Eve. He arrived to find a carport door kicked in. The victim who is a deputy with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department, told officers taken in the incident included his body armor, taser, duty belt, badge and a large tote of ammunition. Also reported stolen was a laptop and a 1925 U.S. Army Colt 45 from inside a closet. Total loss was set at over $11,000. Two possible suspects were named in the crime.
