HOME ON BEAR CREEK ROAD STRUCK BY BULLET IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY
Cumberland County deputies responded to a home yesterday on Bear Creek Road after the residence was struck by a bullet. An individual inside cleaning heard a loud pop in the kitchen. She noticed a hole on the refrigerator and several items inside it broken. A slug from either a .45 or .40 caliber firearm was recovered. Deputies say the round traveled from outside through a wall in the home before hitting the refrigerator. A neighbor also reported hearing the shot. No suspects were named in the incident.
