HOMEOWNER REPORTS REPEATED PORCH THEFTS IN EARLY MORNING INCIDENT

On February 17, 2026, at around 3:35 a.m., a Crossville resident reported a series of thefts from the exterior of her home at Goodwin Circle over recent weeks.
Initially, she suspected some missing items might have been misplaced, but the incidents escalated when her son’s Husqvarna leaf blower, valued at approximately $1,000 and financed through Aaron’s Rent to Own, disappeared from the front porch on February 13 after being left there that day.
Then, on February 16, her daughter’s size 8 green and red Air Force Max shoes were also taken from the same location. The resident observed a small-framed woman in her 40s with reddish hair fleeing into the wooded area behind the house, carrying the shoes, and attempted to confront her without success.
The total value of the stolen items is around $1,090.
The woman has been seen in the neighborhood multiple times and is known to be homeless; neighbors have identified her, though no contact was made with her during the report. The resident requested that the suspect be banned from her property if officers encounter her.Β
Due to no arrest or warrant being made, the suspect is unnamed.
