HOMESTEAD TOWER OFFICIALS ADDRESS PARKING ISSUES
With the ongoing Highway 127 Highway 68 road construction, it’s sometimes difficult to park in front of the Tower Museum.
To ensure the safety of the staff and visitors, officials ask visitors to park behind the tower and walk around to the front.
You can enter the parking lot for Homestead Elementary School from Highway 127 and then take an immediate left onto the gravel pathway that leads up near the tower. It is the main pathway used for the Apple Festival.
Officials say you can park anywhere in the grass behind the tower.
School is out for winter break, so this is just an interim solution.
