The case against a Roane County teenager charged with the death of a soldier has been moved back to juvenile court, following a motion approved by a judge. Officials say 15-year-old Jacob Kinney of Harriman fatally shot 23-year-old Marstratton Gordon in the head with a .357 magnum in 2016. The second-degree murder charge had been transferred to criminal court, but a grand jury indicted Kinney on a lesser charge of reckless homicide.
