A public memorial will be held for a Crossville K-9 Officer that gave his life in the performance of his duties last week. Officer Cain was stabbed multiple times while in pursuit of a suspect Wednesday morning. He unfortunately, died from his wounds. The public is encouraged to line the processional route on Thursday, August 10^th around 11:30 AM. The route will begin at Central Baptist Church on Highway 127 South, heading towards the city of Crossville. The route will continue through the downtown through North Main St. to Crossroads Drive to the Duer Soccer Complex where the public service will be held. Those lining the route are encouraged to wear blue and to bring U.S. or Tennessee State flags.
