An abandoned House caught fire early this morning in Rockwood’s
Eureka Community . The call for West Roane County Volunteer
Fire
personel to respond came in around 1:15am and the address
was
1754 Eureka Road near Post Oak Valley Road. When the first
fire
unit arrived it was reported a lot of smoke and flames coming
from
the single story structure and nobody inside . Mutual Aid
agencies
from all across the county responded to assist and the
fire was
contained after about an hour of attack. The cause remains
under
investigation and no one was injured .
