A woman is expected to be alright after she was mistakenly shot by her husband early Thursday morning in Ooltewah. Authorities were called to a home on Blanche Rd. just after 4 AM after the man misidentified his wife as a home intruder. The man told officers that he was in bed and his wife had been working downstairs in the kitchen. The incident occurred when she entered the bedroom. Her husband accidentally fired the weapon grazing his wife’s ear. The injury was not serious and she was treated at the local hospital.
