Cumberland County deputies observed a driver operating a Chevy S10 traveling on Lantana Road early yesterday morning with a headlight out. Officers activated the emergency lights and sirens to stop the motorist.

The arrest report states the driver, 35-year-old Rhiannon Lynnette Hyder of Crossville, continues for a mile before pulling over to the shoulder in front of First Congregational Church on Lantana Road.

During a search of the vehicle, deputies reportedly found a Smith and Wesson handgun and a bag of meth found in a backpack. Hyder allegedly claimed ownership of the bag.

Hyder was arrested for the manufacture, sale, delivery, or possession of meth, possession of a firearm while committing a felony, and evading arrest.
