Rockwood police, the TBI and the 9th District Attorney General’s Office continue to investigate the death of a female found in apartment 205 at The Courtney Square Apartments Saturday night. Officers were asked to do a welfare check on the woman identified as 47-year-old Tresa Kilby and had to force entry only to find her deceased on the couch. This morning Rockwood Police Chief Bill Stinnett said an autopsy revealed that the cause of death was medically related but they are still awaiting a toxicology report. Authorities say foul play has been ruled out at this time.
