IDENTITY RELEASED OF HIKER WHO DIED AT FALL CREEK FALLS STATE PARK

Van Buren County authorities have released the identity of the hiker who recently passed away in Fall Creek Falls State Park after a multi-hour rescue effort.

Law enforcement says 46-year-old Nathan Bayless lived near the park and was known to frequent the woods in and around his home.

The cause of death of Bayless was weather-related because of extreme cold temperatures.
