A long-term investigation by a Crossville Narcotics Detective, culminated in a warrant service Friday at a Braun St. residence. According to a press release, the warrant, which was for Illegal Narcotics Distribution, was served in the early morning hours by police, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Deputies, the HIDTA-TBI Drug Task Force, the 13^th Judicial District Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, The Tennessee National Guard Counter Drug Task Force along with other law enforcement agencies. The search warrant was served without incident and the home was condemned by the Crossville Codes Enforcement Office. The suspects in the investigation, who were not named, will be presented to the Cumberland County Grand Jury for indictment at a later date.
