Crossville police and medics responded today to a multi-vehicle accident at the intersection of Lantana Road and Miller Bypass.

Just before noon, a Peterbilt dump truck and a Ford F450 box truck were traveling east on Miller Avenue. A Kia Sedona minivan was traveling north on Lantana Road. Troopers say the minivan ran through the intersection striking the dump truck and the box truck on the right sides.

The impact caused the dump truck to spin around and come into contact with a GMC Sonoma. There are currently two drivers injured and one driver deceased.

The roadway will remain closed for approximately 2 hours (until roughly 2 p.m. central) so investigators can work the scene.

A full accident report, including the names of those involved, will be released by the Tennessee Highway Patrol at a later time.
