Crossville police and medics are on the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on North Main Street in front of Lowe’s in Crossville.

Two Lifestar helicopters landed on the highway to transport three individuals to an area trauma center for treatment.

A fourth individual was taken by ambulance to Cumberland Medical Center.

Traffic at the scene in both directions is presently heavy.

One section of the roadway was closed as the medical helicopter landed.

A full accident report will be released at a later time.
