INJURIES REPORTED IN VEHICLE CRASH ON OLD AIRPORT ROAD

The Tennessee Highway Patrol stated in a report released today they responded to a vehicle accident this past weekend on Old Airport Road in Roane County. A 2009 Nissan Altima driven by 18-year-old Logan Burkhamer of Crossville was traveling south when he ran off the roadway in a curve. The automobile spun 180 degrees and struck a tree. Burkhamer and a 17-year-old passenger sustained injuries. Both were restrained at the time of impact. Troopers say the road was wet and the vehicle’s speed was too fast for conditions.
