Motorists traveling along State Route 29 (U.S. 27) in Morgan and Roane counties should be alert for road closures that will have an impact on traffic over the next few weeks. In order to allow for blasting operations to take place, State Route 29 (US 27) will be closed intermittently on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week through June 21. While blasting is occurring, traffic will be detoured to State Route 328. Motorists should use extreme caution when driving through the work zone as workers will be present.
