JACKSON CHARGED WITH BURGLARY OF CUMBERLAND COUNTY HOME

Law enforcement in Cumberland County responded Tuesday to a home on the 2,000 block of Taylor’s Chapel Road for a burglary in progress. Authorities found one person at the scene, 22-year-old Benjamin Journal Jackson of Crossville, who reportedly said “he was at his daddy’s house.” The dwelling was owned by a man not related at all to Jackson. Several items were allegedly taken from in the carport to the driveway. Jackson was arrested for aggravated burglary and criminal trespassing.
