Jerry W. Powers, age 71, of Harriman passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018. He is survived by his daughter: Karen Human (DJ); 7 grandchildren: Coty, Devin, and Shaili Barnwell, Destany Letner, J.C. and Chandler Human, and Lyric Daugherty; sister: Sue Melhorn (Mel); brothers: William Powers, Paul Powers, and Terry Powers. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m.in the chapel of Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Graveside and interment services will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 1 p.m. in the Rose Cemetery. Full military honors will be presented by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Jerry W. Powers.
