JON JOHNSON TAKES ON ROLE AS FIRE CHIEF OF HARRIMAN

During the Harriman City Council meeting on Tuesday evening, September 16, the council unanimously approved the appointment of Jon Johnson as the new fire chief. Johnson, who has served as assistant chief for several years under Chief Brad Daniels, stepped into the role following Daniels’ resignation due to health issues.
A member of the fire department since 1999, Johnson has risen through the ranks and expressed gratitude to the council for the opportunity, stating his optimism for the department’s future. During the meeting, Johnson posed for a photo with the council, city manager, and his family, marking his official appointment as Harriman’s fire chief.
