Joseph Sydney Brown, age 89, passed away August 15, 2017. He is survived by his wife: Virgie Willetta Brown; children: Debra K. Hensley, Dwana J. Deck, and Joey L. Brown; grandchildren: Eric, Tammy, Jo, Heather, Hannah, Vanna, and James; great-grandchildren: Kylee, Chloe, Jason, Emma, Alli, Amelia, Thaid, John, Daniel, Luther, Calvin, Pearl, and Knox; brothers: Earl Brown, John Brown, and Tony Brown; and sisters: Lola Brown, Nadean Randolph, Darlene Hayes, Faye Brown, and Connie Brown. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will also be held Thursday beginning at 7 p.m. Burial will take place in New Pleasant Hill Cemetery Friday, August 18, 2017 at 10 a.m.
