A manhunt late last night in the National Campground Road area of Loudon County resulted in the capture of a fugitive. Officers took 40-year-old Sammy Stillwell into custody for a suspected kidnapping. He in addition procured multiple outstanding warrants out of Blount and Monroe counties and faces felony charges in Loudon.

Law enforcement sends out a particular thanks to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Loudon County 911 dispatchers and Knox County Sheriff’s Office Aviation Unit who assisted in the search for Stillwell.
