On June 26, 2025, at 6 PM, the Kingston City Council will hold a public hearing and a special called meeting at the Kingston City Council Chambers to discuss and receive public comments on several proposed ordinances.

The public hearing will focus on four ordinances: Ordinance 2025-05-13-01, amending the City of Kingston’s annual budget for the 2024-2025 fiscal year; Ordinance 2025-05-13-02, amending the Water/Sewer Fund budget for the same fiscal year; Ordinance 2025-06-10-01, adopting the general fund operating budget and setting the property tax rate for the fiscal year July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026; and Ordinance 2025-06-10-02, adopting the Water/Sewer Fund operating budget and setting rates and fees for the same period.

The special called meeting will include the second readings of these four ordinances, along with Ordinance 2025-06-10-03, which proposes amendments to Chapter 2, “General Wastewater Regulations,” of Title 18 of the Kingston Municipal Code.
