The Kingston Fire Department has reached a milestone with itsservice to the city in attaining a level-2 ISO rating. The lower the ISO rating, the better home and insurance rates offered to residents served by the fire department. The department also saw eight of their firefighters become state certified. The Rockwood and Harriman fire departments currently have an ISO rating of 4, but both are presently working toward dropping those numbers.
