A Kingston man has been charged with domestic assault and resisting arrest. Roane County Deputies were called to a Woodland Drive location for the report of a man vandalizing automobiles. Several pieces of debris were found scattered in the driveway that appeared to be parts of a car. A side mirror had also been damaged on another parked vehicle. Witnesses said that the suspect, identified as 50-year-old Keith Bryan Jones, used a baseball to strike the cars. Jones was confronted inside of the residence and, after cursing at officers in a threatening manner, was hit by a taser. He was then handcuffed and transported to the Roane County Jail without further incident.
