KROGER “CLICKLIST” COMING TO CROSSVILLE

Company officials say Kroger will have its new online grocery ordering system, ClickList, in Crossville this summer. ClickList allows customers to place grocery orders online at www.kroger.com/clicklist. There, the customer creates their shopping list, selects a pick-up time and then places the online order. A Kroger store associate then hand-picks the order and stores it in temperature-appropriate zones until the customer arrives. When the customer pulls up in the ClickList pick-up lane, a store associate will load the order into the vehicle. A designated parking area will be established for ClickList users at the Crossville location, although where it will be has not been announced, because of the limited parking in front of the store. There are some rules and restriction for ClickList that include:

  • Online orders may be created on computers or smart phones with internet access.
  • Customers must reserve a time slot to pick uptheir groceries.
  • As an introductory offer, Kroger will waive the $4.95 service charge for each customer’s first three orders
  • Payment is made at time of pickup, right from the customer’s car.
  • Coupons electronically linked to a customer’s loyalty card will automatically be redeemed to reduce the cost of the order. Physical coupons will be deducted at time of pick up.
  • If an ordered item is not available, store associates will offer a substitution to the customer, which the customer may accept or decline.
  • Pharmacy prescriptions, wine and beer are not included in the program.
