LABOR DAY STARTS DRY BUT MIDWEEK BRINGS MORE RAIN CHANCES

Labor Day will be mostly sunny with only a few afternoon showers, but increasing rain and storm chances return Tuesday through Thursday before sunshine returns Friday.

Labor Day: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 1pm and 3pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph.

Monday Night: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 7pm, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4am. Patchy fog between midnight and 1am. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 58. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tuesday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 72. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph.

Tuesday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. Calm wind.

Wednesday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 7am, then showers likely between 7am and 10am, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 10am. Partly sunny, with a high near 74. Calm wind becoming south southwest around 5 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
