A Cumberland County man contacted the sheriff’s office yesterday to report the theft of lawn equipment from a vacant property he owns on the 11000 block of Highway 70 East. Someone forced entry into the upstairs back screen door to gain access to the garage.

Two Toro self-propelled lawn mowers, a Shindaiwa weedeater and a Shindaiwa backpack blower – valued at just over $1,250 – were stolen. There are no suspects at this time.
