Crossville law enforcement recently went to Cumberland Medical Center emergency room after a patient allegedly struck a nurse. Surveillance footage captured the incident involving 18-year-old Kailey Lewis who supposedly ran at the employee after the door was opened and punched the victim in the face. A reason was not listed in the report and officers dealt with Lewis earlier in the day at the hospital. At least three witnesses filled out statements of the act. Lewis faces a charge of assault.
