LISA WILSON PLEADS GUILTY IN CUMBERLAND COURT TO VEHICULAR HOMICIDE; GETS 12 YEARS

Lisa Marie Wilson has entered a guilty plea in the Criminal Court for Cumberland County to one count of Vehicular Homicide.

In the plea agreement, Wilson admits that on or about August 23, 2023, she unlawfully and recklessly killed Magdalena M. Nolz by operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, with the victim’s death being the proximate result of her intoxication.

She acknowledges understanding the charges, the possible range of punishment (8–30 years and a fine up to $25,000), and the rights she is waiving, including her right to a jury trial, the ability to confront and cross-examine witnesses, subpoena witnesses, remain silent, and appeal the conviction and sentence.

Wilson states that her plea is voluntary, made without threats, force, or promises other than those in the agreement.

As a result of the plea, she has been sentenced to twelve years at 100% to serve in the Department of Correction, with court costs waived. She will also lose her driver’s license for ten years. She has been granted 441 days of jail credit.
