A Crossville man was arrested after his truck crashed through two fences and hit a house Monday afternoon. According to reports released this morning, Cumberland County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a home on Hayes Road, where they found 59-year-old Kirk Alan Parks still sitting in the driver’s seat. When asked what happened, he reportedly stated he had drunk too much to be driving and allegedly admitted to drinking a pitcher. Deputies say Parks failed several field-sobriety tests and, after refusing medical treatment, he was arrested and charged with DUI.
