Responding to a 911 hang-up call with a report of a woman screaming on the phone, Cumberland County sheriff’s deputies found 21-year-old Cody Allen Myers in the living room of an Old Pomona Road residence with the complainant. According to the arrest record, Myers admitted hitting his girlfriend during the course of a domestic squabble. The woman said she was holding their eight-month-old child while Myers was hitting her, and one of the blows struck the infant. Myers, who refused medical attention, was arrested, charged with domestic assault and child abuse and placed under $7,000 bond.
