On Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 1 PM multiple agencies were dispatched to an injured hiker in Scott’s Gulf State Park area.

The injured was almost to Virgin Falls which made it a very lengthy rescue. The total time was over 7 hours.

White County Rescue Squad, Sheriff’s deputies, Eastland Fire, Hickory Valley, State Park Rangers, and Employees, White County EMA, Cumberland Co Rescue, White Co Ambulance, Erlanger air ambulance Lifeforce and all of the members that responded from the local Rescue Squad.

The identity of the injured and details are unknown at this time.
