LOUDON COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER RETIRES AFTER 33 YEARS
The Loudon County community said farewell yesterday to Sergeant Bobby Hamilton of the Lenoir City Police Department.
Hamilton retired after serving 33 years with the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office and Lenoir City Police Department.
Hamilton started with the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office in 1990 and served with the LCSO until 2017 when he transitioned to the Lenoir City Police Department as a Sergeant and served from 2017 to 2023.
“It is hard to put into words the impact that Bobby has had on my law enforcement career and how many others he has impacted,” said Sheriff Jimmy Davis. “You won’t find a better person and officer than him. He always put others before himself and served this community faithfully for 33 years.”
