LOUDON DEPUTIES WELCOME NON-PROFIT RIDERS ON THEIR WAY TO WASHINGTON

From the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office:
Yesterday, the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office was honored to welcome a group of dedicated riders from Law Enforcement United as they passed through Loudon County on their journey to Washington, D.C. These riders made a special stop at our office to pay tribute to the brave deputies and officers who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our community.
Law Enforcement United is a non-profit organization made up of law enforcement officers, survivors of the fallen, and civilian supporters. Their mission is to honor the service and sacrifice of those who have died in the line of duty and to support the families and loved ones left behind. Through events like this, they help raise awareness about the risks law enforcement officers face every day and ensure that the memories of our fallen heroes are never forgotten.
The riders are currently undertaking an incredible journey, cycling over 800 miles from Chattanooga, Tennessee to Washington, D.C., ahead of National Police Week. Along the way, they stop at various agencies to remember fallen officers and show support for their fellow law enforcement families. Their dedication is a powerful reminder of the brotherhood and sisterhood within the law enforcement community.
We thank these riders for their commitment, their sacrifice, and for keeping the memories of our fallen deputies alive. Safe travels as you continue this important mission.
