MEDIC Regional Blood Center is critically low on O Negative blood and is offering e-gift cards to encourage donations from June 18-20, 2025. All donors will receive e-gift cards: $20 for whole blood, $25 for ALYX, and $45 for platelet donations. Donors will also get a MEDIC beach towel and a Texas Roadhouse coupon.

The promotion aims to address a slow donation period due to summer weather while demand remains high. Appointments can be made online, via the MEDIC app, or by calling 865-524-3074; walk-ins are welcome.

In Crossville, MEDIC is located at 96 Hayes St.

MEDIC serves 25 hospitals across 23 counties in East Tennessee and Southeastern Kentucky. Donated blood takes three days to process and is vital for trauma events.
