Cumberland County, TN- On Tuesday, officers tried to stop a driver who was traveling North in the Southbound lanes of New Lantana Road. The driver of the Honda Pilot was not stopping and the pursuit finally ended on Azalia Avenue. Officers recognized the 47-year-old driver as Rodney Pugh, of Crossville. Rodney was observed to be in and out of consciousness. His arms were stiff and held in an upright position and would not respond to officers. After EMS administered “Narcan”, Rodney was able to conversate. Rodney allegedly told officers that he had taken Percocet which probably had fentanyl in it.

He was charged with Evading Arrest and Driving Under the Influence.
