A Roane County man is facing charges after a physical altercation with two minors yesterday (Tuesday, August 8, 2017). According to the report from the Roane County Sheriff’s Department, 27-year-old Colton Matthew Pennington of Rockwood got into an argument with a 13-year-old and a 15-year-old male after a dog used the bathroom on the floor of a home. The report further states that Pennington, after cleaning up the mess, allegedly slapped the 13-year-old in the face then punched the victim with a closed first in the face. The 15-year-old attempted to stop Pennington but was pushed to the floor twice. Deputies charged Pennington with two counts of domestic assault on a minor. Pennington was transported to the Roane County jail.
