A Kingston man was transported to the Roane County jail following a physical and bloody altercation with a female. According to the arrest report from the sheriff’s department, deputies arrived to a location to find the victim with blood coming from her head, arms, hand and leg. Officers say 49-year-old Pitoni S Smith of Kingston hit the woman and threw her down several times on concrete after an argument. Smith claimed that the woman hit him but deputies did not see any marks on Smith. He was charged with domestic assault. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries sustained.
