On July 29, 2025, Deputy Caleb Charles of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of stolen property at a home on Pomona Road near Crossville following information from a Morgan County Detective that Christopher Lee Duff, a 36-year-old white male resident, possessed items belonging to a Morgan County judge.

The incident occurred between 5:52 PM and 7:00 PM at Pomona Road, classified as a theft from a building with no forced entry or bias motivation.
