MAN CHARGED WITH SMUGGLING DRUGS INTO CUMBERLAND COUNTY JAIL
Cumberland County Deputies have charged a man with manufacture/delivery/sale of a controlled substance. James Robert McCall was arrested after his suspicious vehicle was observed pulling into different driveways. A K-9 Officer hit on the odor of drugs in his vehicle. Confiscated in the search were plastic baggies containing a total of 32 grams of methamphetamine. Those were found in a larger bag which was discovered in McCall’s rectum during a strip search by corrections officers. Other items of drug paraphernalia were also found, and McCall was driving on a revoked license. He was also charged with trying to introduce contraband into a penal institution.
