MAN FLEES ROCKWOOD POLICE, CRASHES, GOES TO HOSPITAL, GETS RELEASED, FLEES AGAIN

On Monday, August 4, 2025, at approximately 8:55 PM CDT, Rockwood Police Department Sergeant Jonathan Campbell observed a vehicle traveling south on Gateway Avenue at 65 mph in a 40 mph zone, confirmed by radar. While approaching Tedder Street, Sgt. Campbell attempted to stop the vehicle as it turned left onto Highway 70.

The driver accelerated to over 100 mph, leading police on a chase. The vehicle then turned onto Poland Hollow Road, where it crashed into a ditch and became stuck. The driver, identified as 21-year-old Jordan T. Davidson of Rockwood via his Tennessee driver’s license, was taken into custody at the scene.

His license was found to be suspended, the vehicle lacked insurance, and the displayed license plate belonged to a different vehicle. An ambulance was dispatched to the 200 block of Poland Hollow Road to evaluate Davidson, who requested hospital transport.

He was released from Roane Medical Center before arrest warrants could be issued. Warrants are now active for Jordan T. Davidson for multiple traffic violations.

The Rockwood Police Department requests that anyone with information on his whereabouts contact local authorities.
