MAN INDICTED ON CHARGES INCLUDING KIDNAPPING AND ASSAULT

A man was indicted by a Cumberland County grand jury this week on several charges. Court officials say 44-year-old Clifford James Farris from Tunnell Hill, Georgia faces 12 counts including three counts of aggravated kidnapping, three counts of aggravated assault, and one count each of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, reckless endangerment, vandalism over $2500, vandalism under $1000, possession of meth for sale and possession of meth for delivery. According to the multi-count indictment, Farris reportedly used a gun to put fear and hold three individuals against their will back in November of last year. Farris Is set to be arraigned on the charges in Cumberland County Criminal Court on January 19, 2018.
