A Cumberland County man who was involved in a head-on collision in Crossville Monday has died. According to sources, two pickup trucks were involved in the accident at 9:50 AM Monday morning at the intersection of Genesis Rd. and Interstate Drive. One of the drivers, 74-year-old David Crabtree, had multiple injuries and was sent to Cumberland Medical Center, then airlifted by Lifestar to Roane Medical Center and then transferred to UT Medical Center in Knoxville. He died early Wednesday morning. The other driver, a 70-year-old local man who was not identified, initially refused treatment, but then was transported to CMC to be checked out.
