MAN NAMED BELL ARRESTED AT TACO BELL

Yesterday, Crossville Police units were dispatched to Taco Bell on Peavine Road for a male suspected of driving a stolen 1996 Ford Crown Victoria found in the Taco Bell parking lot earlier that day.

Upon arriving, officers made contact and identified the male as Johnny Bell. Bell said that the vehicle was his and he had just bought it. Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office investigator Sarah Smith, who was investigating the stolen car, was informed of the vehicle and signed a warrant on Bell.

Once the warrant was signed, Officer Justin Farmer placed Bell in custody and transported him to the Justice Center without incident.
