The Crossville Police Department is investigating an incident where a man was allegedly attacked by four unknown individuals. According to the report, the 32-year-old male victim was walking at the 600^th block of West Avenue heading towards Weigels just before midnight on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 when the four assailants approached him. One of the attackers hit the victim several times with his fists while the others hit him with a baseball bat and a strap. Three of the four attackers were wearing Halloween masks while the fourth individual was described as having a beard with a hat and sunglasses on. The victim was transported to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of injuries. No further information was given on the report.
