MAN SENTENCED FOR ROLE IN LARGE-SCALE METH TRAFFICKING CONSPIRACY

A Roane County man has been sentenced to prison for his role in a large-scale meth trafficking conspiracy. Court officials say 33-year-old Justin Redmon of Harriman received 10 years in prison. Upon his release from prison, Redmon will be supervised by the U.S. Probation Office for five years. Officers say between August 2015 and August 2016, Redmon conspired with others to travel between Roane County and Rome, Georgia to buy large quantities of meth that were then resold in east Tennessee. Individuals also charged for their roles in this conspiracy who were previously sentenced include 54-year-old Gerald Musson of Ten Mile, 49-year-old Lamar England of Rockwood, 29-year-old Amanda Wells of Harriman, 57-year-old William Colyer of Rockwood, 46-year-old Anthony Jones of Rockwood and 45-year-old Clarence Laymance of Wartburg.
