MAN STEALS OVER $2,000 IN IPADS FROM CROSSVILLE WALMART
On February 20, 2026, at approximately 4:19 p.m., police were dispatched to the Walmart in Crossville in response to a theft report. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the Asset Protection Manager, who explained that the incident had occurred two days earlier, on February 18, at around 3:41 p.m.
A male suspect, whose face was partially concealed by a medical mask and his arm, entered the store and proceeded to the electronics department. There, he asked an associate to bring three iPad Mini Air devices to the front register for checkout. At the register, the suspect presented a protection plan pamphlet along with an old receipt, claiming he had already paid for the iPads in the back of the store.
The associate accepted this and bagged the items, allowing the suspect to leave the store at 3:52 p.m. with the three iPads, valued at a total of $2,097.
As of this story, the suspect has yet to be identified.
