BBBTV12 – ROCKWOOD, Tenn. — A medical emergency Thursday afternoon in Rockwood resulted in a patient being flown by LifeStar to Knoxville for treatment.

Emergency crews were dispatched around 2:15 p.m. to a call in the 100 Block of Lenoir Avenue, where a man believed to be about 32 years old was found unconscious.

LifeStar was requested to the scene and landed at the Brillo Miller Sports Complex at approximately 3:10 p.m. The patient was then airlifted to the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville for further care.

The man’s condition remains unknown as of this report.
